We take a break from sailing and head inland from our marina in Motril to explore the historic city of Granada. A short train ride brings us into one of Spain’s most storied places — a city with over 2,700 years of history that has shaped cultures, kingdoms and daily life for millennia
Granada doesn’t disappoint. Narrow streets wind between ancient buildings layered with the influences of the civilisations that have called this place home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, filled with music, friendly faces and the easy rhythm of a city that still feels lived-in rather than staged for visitors
In this episode we wander the old town, soak up the architecture and street life, and share the feeling of stepping off the boat and into a place where history is still very much present.
