In this episode, we lift anchor and say goodbye to our friends Di and Stu as Helios continues her journey south along the Spanish coast. With only light winds forecast, it’s a relaxed day of motor sailing — calm seas, sunshine, and easy miles ticking by.
We arrive in Blanes, where we settle in for a peaceful night at anchor before setting off again the next day. With glassy water and barely a breath of wind, conditions are perfect for some low-pressure sailing lessons, and Jude takes the helm to build confidence and refine her sail handling skills.
A gentle coastal sail, goodbyes to friends, and another small step forward on our Mediterranean journey.
